Here are some photos I took last week while on walk about on 300 west.
These photos are between 1700 south and High Avenue( the street going to the GMHRC back entrance.) I did not go down any side streets because I don’t like getting in the middle of drug deals, they are bad for my health.
Notice the Fence/Wall area. That was a camp 2 weeks ago with @ 20 people living there. It is directly across 300 west from Paramount Ave/Gail Miller HRC and I don’t think the staff at the HRC knew anything about it. I liked to think of it as the GMHRC annex !! Party on Wayne! Just like at the GMHRC !!
Notice all the broken windows ! How the hell are we supposed to heat our buildings this winter with this constant vandalism? Most of us keep them boarded up because what’s the point in replacing them when they just get broken out again.
That’s not doing a lot for the 300 West Façade Beautification Program the city is bragging about !
This week I’ll do a walk about from High Ave to 800 south.
